| Gabby is shredding puppy pads!!! Gabby is in a pen with a living quarters on one side and a restroom on the other. She continues to go the restroom side and shred the puppy pads at night. We were doing better about sleeping through the night until she got her 12 week shots yesterday. She has been up all night barking and whining and SHREDDING! Can I use disposable puppy pads throughout the house and use the washable ones in the pen? |

| I really don't have any answers, but do relate. Piccolo shredded puppy pads and I don't know why. We put down newspaper and she was fine and used those instead. Kind of weird but it worked. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Potty Training and shredding puppy pads. Quote:
When I train dogs, I highly recommend not to have multiple pads around the house. This could be a disaster down the road, since every carpet will feel like a puppy pad. When I help others housebreak, we find that having one consisted place that the puppy recognizes as their toilet is the best option. I am not promoting our product, but there are quite a few on the market that have "grass" that the dog can not chew. Also, be really consistent when you work with your dog My dog uses her indoor dog potty when I am at work, and I walk her when I get home. I might also suggest lots of positive reinforcement and consistency. You are Gabbys' whole world She just wants to please you. If you show her what you expect, you will have a more positive relationship in years to come All the best, let me know if I can help | |
