| Suddenly stop hitting the pee pad to pee ZuZu has been completely potty trained to the pee pad for months now.She has gone without fail ON the pad every time. For the past 4 days, she has gone (just pee) on the floor beside it. She still poops ON the pad with no problem. She will be 5 months on March 3rd. I read that she pees more and it get on her paw...I ruled that out because it is getting on her paw MORE when she uses the floor, and I know this because you can SEE her pee paw prints going away from where she just went! I tell her NO and put her on the pad and make her stay there for a few mins. I also read that she might not go on a used pad, But there were clean ones down and she STILL did it. She is not in heat or anything like that...I dont THINK...she is not swollen or bleeding....there is NOTHING physically wrong with her. I think she is just purely doing this out of stubborn defiance. Because she goes on it sometimes, but its becoming more and more not on it. I lovingly corrected it for the first 2 days, then showed my disapproval with her on the 3rd day with strong voice. I did not yell at her. but she KNEW I was NOT happy about it. I am not having this behavior after months of going on the pad without fail. I am going to try changing brands of pads, these I have suck and half the time the inside padding is not even there on some of them. Has anyone else had this problem?? completely trained without fail, then suddenly not? Im sure I will figure it out...but any tips would be considered here.... |

| Yup Jess has two months of perfect behavior than boom three days of bad. At five months I think they are just like toddlers. trying to get attention good or bad. /try TOTALLY ignoring her. I would see the pee, clean it in front of her then leave the room and not speak or look at the dog for 20 minutes. Eventually they get it..although at 2 jess has her "falling off the wagon "days still |
