| Outdoor Potty Pads? Hi, we're expecting to get our little 10 week old puppy Christmas time, and I'm not sure if this is too young to start outside potty training! My friend suggested using potty pads, but put them on the porch so that the puppy gets use to going outside to use the bathroom. Anyone ever hear/ try this method? Thank you. Mary

| I used a potty pad outside on the covered deck. We got Lexi at Christmas time too. I held the corners down with some granite samples. (We were replacing our countertops at about the same time.) It worked pretty good and got the idea of going outside learned. Then eventually, it was pretty easy to just take the pad away and have her use the grass or bark. |

| We have a potty patch outside on the patio for Pickles because he won't go on the real grass when it's cold...or wet... This hasn't confused P-nut at all, he does his own thing and shows no interest in the patch. |

| This is such a good idea! Wish I would have known idea back when I could have used it. I keep one in the entry way, for a 'just in case', but would have been better to have one outside as well. Smart cookies, you gals are!! |
