| GrrrrRUFF! So, Charlie has begun biting. Now, I understand that he's teething and a lot of puppies do bite but there is a difference here. He plays very rough, but only with me! He chases me around the room with his tail wagging and when I lean down to pat him, he bites my hands. If I pick him up he licks my face and hands, but if we're both on the floor together or if I'm on his level, he bites me! He won't do that to anyone else. Just me. What can I do? |

| I think he is going through a teething phase. Whenever he bites your hands you could say no to him.Try to get his attention and get a favorite toy to play with him. Getting him to play with a toy with you will help.My baby is three years old and she plays hard and can accidentally bite a little hard. She knows no and even gets her toys for me to play with. These little stinkers are smart and they go through different phases as they grow. Oh and I never spank or holler just a polite no when the playful biting gets out of hand.Give him time he loves his mom and wants to play. Susan |

| Like I said, he bites on nobody or nothing else. I would think that teething would mean he bites everything... |

| My baby only bites me, too. But, I think it's because she loves me more! LOL. Anyone else can put their fingers in her mouth and she'll lick them. But if I so much as bend down and my hands are anywhere near her reach, GAME ON. I really don't mind because she'll stop when I tell her 'No biting' and, for me, that's the key. My hands just happen to be her favorite toy because I've always allowed it as long as she doesn't bite hard. No one else in the family would tolerate such foolishness so she knows better. Just give your little one a 'No biting' or similar command and redirect him to another toy. It sounds like he's playing with his Mommy, but may need a little correction to be a bit more gentle.
