| Will not pee on pee pad Hi! I am a new owner and I am trying to get my 3 month old female puppy to use her pee pads. I have her closed off in the kitchen with a place for her to sleep and eat and then have been placing the pee pads on the other side of the kitchen, my kitchen is pretty small but there is a good amount of space between like 3 for 4 feet from the pee pad to the bed. However no matter what she will not go on the pee pad even if she has to go sometimes I think she just holds it in because it seems as if she doesn't go potty. I take her out to play supervised and then put her back in and she never goes. The only time she goes is when she is able to get out of the closed off area when I don't lock it tightly and then she pees and poops in the apartment carpet. Help! I'm worried she is not peeing and pooping enough and I don't know what to do to get her to pee/poop on the pee pad. Last edited by andre11; 09-09-2013 at 09:54 AM. |

| put her space down to bed water and pad. no room to roam unless she is totally supervised. also put some of her pee next time she goes on the pad. Even if you have to take it off the carpet. If she sees it on there and there is no where else to go she will. Then praise her like crazy and give her a treat. |
