| Age of your housebroken Yorkie? My Yorkie is 13 weeks. I was wondering the average age of fully Housebroken Yorkies? We've been doing the "train your dog in 7 days" schedule but I know it's gone take more time. |

| ZoE trained very quickly & was fully potty pad trained by 12 weeks. My last yorkie, Chelsea, was the same. With each dog, I took a few weeks off work so I could be available 24/7 to focus on training. I think the key is to create the environment for successful pottying and not give them an opportunity for accidents...and praise, praise, praise & treat every good potty. Within days, they got what I wanted them to do, and then it was just a matter of reinforcing the behavior.

| Thank you both for your posts. He hasn't had a accident in over a week because I've had him leashed to me whenever out the crate for free time. I'm home for another week with him so hopefully we get this down pretty good. |
