| Potty Patch Does anyone have experience with their yorkie and potty training with the Potty Patch? I have a 6 month old female, Lacey, and we are having some success. I am crate training. She is 5 lbs and will go outside but is a stealth "peeing and pooping machine if you so much as turn your back. Suggestions????? Thanks |

| Grandaughters 'Morkie' uses the training pads exclusively. Would that work for a Yorkie? |

| I bought the Potty Patch for Ian, but he would only lie on it. We use potty pads...and walks.

| I bought a potty patch for Huey when he was a pup, but all he ever did was drag the grass around the house and leave little green shreds everywhere. (Same with pee pads...shredded and drug thru house...) Now it stays outside on the deck and sometimes he uses it and sometimes he doesn't.

| I have it outside. When its late at night or poor weather and don't want to go into the yard. Moki uses it fine. But it needs cleaning. So you will need an outdoor area to hose it off. I use soap and a little bleach to hose it clean. The grass I bought another so I can rotate and just let one air dry. I like it less waste into the landfill. But I admit I will use a disposable in the bottom. In the Winter when he uses it alot. That way the pee doesn't splash around when I carry it. But it's less waste then needing to change the pee pad everytime. Inside I use washable pad. The Potty pad may not before everyone. Need a place to clean it. If you don't have that I wouldn't recommend it. I also wash his feet if he uses it alot. He pees on it it drains but he still walks on it so it gets on his paws. I'm not a germaphobe but it is kinds gross if hes putting paws all over your face. |

| I got a potty patch for Billi to use since all she'd to is attack & shred pee pads... I'd say we have about an 80% success rate with the patch. She'll use it almost consistently if she's in the room it's in (the master bedroom), but she still potty's on the living room rug almost daily, even when the door to the bedroom is open. Bummer! I do appreciate that it's pretty clean & doesn't really smell. I hose it down every other day & dries fairly quickly. Very helpful for us since Billi is too little/scared to go down the steps to the grass outside. |

| We got a potty patch for Billi since she's too scared to go down steps to get to the grass outside- we tried pee pads, but she liked to shred those. We're about 95% successful with the patch if she's in the same room as it (we keep it in the master bedroom), but she'll still potty on the living room rug even when the bedroom door is open. Since she's only 4 months, I'm going to chalk it up to needing more practice... I do appreciate that it's clean & doesn't really smell- tho I do hose it down every other day. Any longer and Billi doesn't want to use it as much. Doesn't take long to dry either. |
