| Potty trouble with 8 month old I have an 8 month old female who just went though her first heat cycle. I have her potty trained to go on puppy pads in my garage and we have her Create trained. We had to go out of town for several days a couple of weeks Ago so I took her to her groomers where she stayed until we got back. Since we have been home she does not want to go potty on the pad. She keeps holding it and goes in her create when left alone. She was doing so good before. I don't understand the relapse. Does her going into heat have an effect on her like this? She is scheduled to get fixed later next month. Any advice is appreciated. |

| Aw man that stinks! To be honest it really doesn't take much to set them back. I had Peanut fully trained- he had 0 accidents, then I had to dog sit and BAM started going pee everywhere!! So I feel for ya.. You basically have to start all over again. As much as it is going to suck that is the only thing you can do. So however you trained her before start over. I’m sure she will get back into it.

| I am so lost. She was potty trained to pads in my garage but now keeps going in her create. I thought they wouldn't go where they sleep. I don't know what to do. She almost refuses even go out into the garage now at all. Please help |

| Maybe she associates going to the garage with going out somewhere, like the groomer . Jess always comes back a little off wherever I send her, groomer, pup hotel you name it. As to peeing in the crate, she always did that at first when she came here. She didn't care. I used to call her little DD (dirty doggie) You just have to start over. |

| The silver lining in all of this is there is a very good chance that she will be back to using her pads more quickly this time around. Be patient, be consistent and your pup will be back to her good behavior soon. Blessings!!
