| Progress for 1 day of potty training to puppy pads Well, I've only had my yorkie for a day now. But all day yesterday and all this morning I've been right next to him while eating, drinking and playing. I also have his puppy pad close to everything as well. Well, I started putting him on the pad when I noticed him starting to squat. He had about 2 little accidents as soon as I brought him home. (Extremely understandable for being only 8 weeks old) I praise him SO much when he goes and he loves that. Well, all this morning he has been either pottying on the pad or right next to the pad. I have the pad on the tile floor by my front door, so at least it's not on the carpet. I even left the room to get food for my other pets and snuck in on him and saw him go across the room to the pad and peed on it. I couldn't believe that, but was so thrilled. | That's wonderful!!! Just keep praising him, every time he goes where he's supposed to. A treat helps reinforce it too!
