| House restricted baby? I was under the impression from the breeder not to take my 12 week old yorkie out of the house at all until she gets her last shots in may but everything I've read says right now is a crucial time for her to socialise so I'm not sure whether to get her out there or keep her in or really what to do what do you guys think? |

| I took my Bentley out, but only with him in my arms. He went everywhere, Walmart, PetCO,Petsmart. lol It was not until he got his kennel cough vac and his second parvo/distemper I allowed him to walk out in public.

| If you have her in a dog carrier or in your arms it should be all right. Try not to let people pet her and treat her as you would an infant. Don't let her walk outside because she may catch something from other dogs that are not vaccinated.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I did not take Galen out until 2 weeks after his last shot. He is a very social puppy. Not afraid of big dogs, cats or people. He is a true lover. I think my breeder did a lot about socializing him at her house. And friends came over to see him. I always had them wash their hands before touching him. He is a love muffin.

Plus our vet runs a kind of puppy softplay playgroup. It's for all the babies that haven't finished their course of shots yet, so they're all in the same boat. It was brilliant fun, and did wonders for their socialization Sally + Harry x | |
