| Can't beleive how smart they are!!! Hey everyone! I just had to post this bc I am such a proud mommy! Buster will be 3 months old and already he is becoming such a little preformer! He can sit, lay down, stand on his back legs and dance in circles , roll over and just learned what we are calling "the boot camp crawl" If he is playing and we arent paying attention, he will bark at us and start doing everything he has learned! Yorkie are so smart!! He has learned so much so fast! Now..if paper training was this easy |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am having trouble teaching cali. i know it;s probably my fault if I spent as much time teaching her tricks as i do on YT she'd be the world's smartest dog!

| This breed tends to be under rated for their smarts as they are seen as pocket pooches. They where breed to corner and kill rats, that takes brains and the ability to use them and a fearlessness. It was not been bred out of them for the most part and we tend to under work those smarts in doing so they can get aggressive , destructive and bored. | sounds like your little one is learning some neat tricks! i sit on a little plastic stool when i'm with bunjee in the kitchen. he does that same "boot camp crawl" underneath my stool, from one side to the other. and then back again. i'd ask him, what are you doing? and he'd stop to look at me for a second and then go back to crawling. oh yes, if only potty training and bite inhibition could be so easy. my hands would thank him. it's all pruney from constant cleaning of the kitchen floor and constant chewing from my little pup. |

| awsome! Emma is fast too, she is getting pee-pee pad trained in 2 days, and outside trained in 2 days. She is also learning sit, and come, we are working on lay down but she is only 8 weeks old so we practice 1-2 times a day. Where is a good place to read on how to train them? i want her do to the turn around on her back legs thing and the army crawl, those are awsome! |

| I actually got him to roll over after he learned lay down... he would lay down and then I would take him and turn him on his side.I just used simple commands " Buster Down, Buster over, sit, dance". And instead of using treats all the time ((which are plain ol cherrios)) I have been sneeky and use little bits of his dry food I have a good book that my boss gave me and I actually learned some good stff from it.. I dont have it with me right now as I am at work but will post the name of it later! I am IN LOVE with my little man! I want another one already! |
