| Really Need Some Help Please I have a 11 year old yorkie we rescued about 2 yrs ago. She has always had accidents in the house but now at night when she sleeps with me she gets off the bed and pee's and poo's on the floor. I have tried using pads but alot of times she sneaks off the bed while i'm sleeping and goes on the carpet and not the pads. She has never been good about being in a crate so thats why she sleeps in the bed. I have tried everything even had her at the vets for a complete exam nothing is physical wrong with her. I REALLY need some suggestions on what to do. |

| What kind of feeding/exercise/elimination schedule is she on? I'd try feeding and walking her a bit earlier in the evening so she won't feel the need to get up and go after bedtime.

| Since it is not a health problem, maybe she has a different preference than paper potty pads. It took me months and months to realize Piccolo preference was to potty on newspaper, not puppy pads or the grass. Now she is perfect in that area. Maybe you could try some washable potty pads, which would be more like carpets, etc.?

| @kjc, we don't don't go to bed tell about 9-9:30 and I take her out several times right up until bed time. She also get's her dinner early so that hope fully she'll poo before bed but it seems like she holds it and then ends up going in the middle of the night. @Lisa, thanks I thought of that and ordered the washable pads. I should have them by monday. |
