| No means No!! How do you get your baby to pay attention to you when you tell them no... Emy kept jumping up on the bench with her two front legs and with her front teeth biting my rear end, I had my back to her at the kitchen table ..LOL, I kept pushing her down telling her no everytime and everytime she just kept coming back and jumping up, we did this over and over again, I figured I could outlast her, she was just like a two year old, I swear, but when you tell them no and they kind of ignore you and just keep doing it ..what do you do?? She didn't want out, she just came in, she just ate, she just wanted my attention, but I can't always give her attention, she was adament about it, and was niping my rear end, no means no....not to her this morning..little snot!! Next 1) combine NO with a sharp clap of the hands Next 2) combine NO with a quick blow of a whistle Next 3) Use soft forefinger and push her side neck away from you. Might be hard to do if she is behind you on the bench. Next 4) combine with NO. Take her little beard that is under her chin and only her little beard. Look her straight in the eyes as you hold, and firmly repeat No. If she struggles a bit hold on until she stops. Next 5) Immediately after first infraction, get up and put her in her xpen/crate. Leave for 5 minutes. Our Yorkies can be verra stubborn indeed Stay with it, she will finally get it!

| Time outs worked wonders for Chloe! We rarely even have to follow through any more. Just asking her "Do you want to go in time out?" in a stern voice almost always takes care of the issue. -C
