Senior Yorkie Talker | Potty Pads Hello, Yorkie Friends! I am wondering what everyone does for pottying their pups and dogs. Milo is pretty good outgoing outside but still has lots of accidents in the house. I am debating getting pee pads to supplement outside. What do you do? Can you do both walks outside and set up something for pottying inside, too? I am worried about the upcoming winter and how he will do then. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. |

| Hi, I've got a 5 month old little girl. I have used potty pads from the day she came to me at 12 weeks. I don't have access to a garden so I trained her to go on the pads when she was in her x-pen. She has full run of apartment now as she has been trained to go into a doggy potty tray lined with a potty pad out in the balcony. I have tried soooo many times to get her to go when out on walks but she insists on going in her tray!!!!! In a way I am glad as the weather in England can be very unpredictable and I wouldn't want to venture out in the freezing cold with Milly to potty! Good luck with yours

| I hate and love potty pads..To me makes it hard to outdoor train. But then Moki potty on the pad 99% of the time while inside. I use washable incontinent hospital pads ~$5 each |

| I just dont like pottypads, Joel has gone outside from the beginning, but then again i'm always home with him. I would have to use them if I worked out of the house |

| Only reason I used them is he can't make it through the night and I never got to him in time or if I'm gone to long. I like straight outdoor also. Still young at least I'm glad he goes on the pad |

| use both my baby always goes outside when we take him and know he needs to go but since we work we leave him a potty pad by the kitchen and he knows to go there when no one is home to take him out or if he can't hold it any longer. Before the pads, he would have a lot of accidents too because he wasn't sure where was an OK spot to go. But now he knows exactly where to go when no one is around

| I got Jada when she was 10 weeks old and her breeder trained her to use newspaper so I continued that and it worked well. I would put down pee pads and put newspaper on top of them. (she couldn't use just pee pads because she would chew them) However, after a couple of months the newspaper method just became too messy because she would step in her urine and track it on the floor. She also started to tear it up when she was home alone. Then, she would run around the whole house and slide into the newspaper like she was playing baseball and sliding into home base! So I got her a ugodog indoor potty which has worked out great! It's small and prevents mess. At first I was afraid that she wouldn't know how to use the bathroom outside but when we go for walks she will use the bathroom outside. |

| Use both but mainly potty pads. Right now, we're training Mia on the pads and she is slowly catching on but still has accidents. The breeder says she goes outside though. Geno is suppose to use the pads but he'll go potty outside as well.
