| Lifting his leg? Zedd is 10 months old and he still hasn't lifted his leg, should I be worried? Not that mind him not lifting his leg but I'm just concerned a little. |

| I'm a bit confused here, you have a 10 month old puppy (male) and a baby (female) that just passed away? Are you trying to breed? Is the male pup from the same breeder as the female? If so I would definitely have him tested a.s.a.p. I would be a little worried.

| That's how they pee. All my boys lift thier leg, to pee, some don't but some men sit on a toilet most stand to urinate... If he marking things you don't want him to pee on then potty training is the issue. Wow I'd be terrified of breeding puppies from a questionable line, especially if your only possible mentor is the person who sold you a pup who died, you should really rethink this. If you breed you risk your dogs life, if you sell sick pups in CA you are subject to all breeder laws...you are opening yourself up to lawsuits and animal law penalties/ guidelines. Do some research before you get into a mess worse than the one you have now.

We were thinking of breeding him before the puppy died so we had no suspicion that the puppy was sick. We weren't planning on selling the puppies to make money off them. Some family members wanted zedd's puppies and we were thinking of keeping at least one. | |

| You should know the line. Ensure they are breeding quality. Be prepared with the requirements of a pregnant female and then the whelping of a litter. Yorkies are known to require c-sections for birthing. Weatheer you sell pups ir not the new law includes you as a breeder weather the breeding is purposefull or accidental.

My furkids Donating Member | My little man was 5 months old when we got him..he was a squatter.. he started to lift his leg around 9 months old...not all the time though. we had him neutered at 11 months old...most of the time he squats sometimes he does a half lift!

| OP, I did some digging in your past posts & it looks like Zedd is an adorable yorkie poo? I would just get him neutered (if he's not) asap & also have any retained baby teeth extracted @ the same time & enjoy him as a loving pet. Boys are the sweetest! If you leave him unneutered, he will want to roam, all he'll think about is 'that' to the point of starving himself...you will truly miss out on the affection a boy dog can give, it's priceless! hahaha! mine do that too, they lose their balance sometimes...I crack up & they look @ me like, 'mom don't laugh @ me!'
