| Showing them who's BOSS! Hi group, ok some of you know that i have been having MAJOR problems housebreaking Barbie. So I decided to crate barbie, but put the crate in the bathroom with Nali while i'm away. I started this monday. It's helping a great deal but both the girls are extremely upset about it. lol So this morning I opened the crate door thinking i had to pick up Barbie and put her in. Nali goes in first and Barbie followed. I kept telling Nali to come out and she just looked at me. lol So i picked Nali up and took her out. Both of them started barking and whining in harmony. I think it's so cute how they have bonded. It's like they grew up together. That was this morning. Now this evening i'm still showing the girls who's boss. Both of them are in the bathroom (not in crate) and they have to stay there until they eat and go potty. OMG are the showing up. barking and whining in harmony again. I'm trying to be strong but I have a migrane. Will they ever stop singing???? |

| I'm confused you are potty pad training them? Do they have ample room to potty away from the area you have created as their den? When you the control everything you are automatically in the alpha role as the boss. Are you refering to having issue getting them to be quiet on command?

| I'm potty pad training Barbie. That's why she's crated during the day when i'm at work. This evening I'm attempting to teach them that they have to eat dinner, go potty then they can come out to play. Yes they have plenty room to eat, potty pad and play. They have the entire bathroom. |

| Kipper has my entire laundry room for the times he cannot come with me. He has learned how to squeeze his little body through the baby gate, so has been greeting me at the front door and leaving little tootsie rolls under the Steinway piano! Not good. We now have to double baby gate the laundry room to make sure he is where his potty pads are. If we are home, he ALWAYS uses them. I think he does not want to squeeze himself back through the gate to get back to the pad once he is out. One time, however, he pooped in my office because he was MAD at me. I am sure of it. What I am not sure of is, who is boss when the little fellow can do this to me to make me behave! Ha ha!! |

| "What I am not sure of is, who is boss when the little fellow can do this to me to make me behave! " I'm not the boss here, that's obvious. See my signature? Cinders told me to write that!
