| Need help with Potty Training Indoors 2 1/2 year old Yorkie Hello, I just got a 2 1/2 year old yorkie; the problem I have is she won't go on a wee wee pad even with training spray sprayed on it. She will hold it for long hours to go to bathroom when I walk her. I worry with bad weather, snow, heavy rain, etc. I would like her trained both indoor and outdoor for her own comfort and wellbeing. Any Suggestions? She has had only 1 previous owner who had to find a loving and caring home for Chloe; it was a perfect match as I lost my beloved yorkie of 13 years last May and I just cried every day. Chloe has brought alot of joy into my heart and life. I just love her! I have emailed previous owner but she also had another dog that was elderly and used the wee wee pads. Please I need help with suggestions on how to encourage her to go on pad indoors. I am 57 years old. Thanks for your help! |

i am glad you now have chloe. you may need to get her accustomed to using the pad. if you have an ex -pen , line one side with potty pads the other with her bed, toys, etc. leave her in the pen when you are out. also when you are home put her in the pen right after eating and watch her . if she uses the pad praise her and give her a treat good luck | |

| I wish I could give some advice. Perhaps someone here is able to help. My Yorkie will only go outdoors. |
