| Clicker Training Do any of you use a clicker to train your yorkie? I have read they are clever, and good to train, and I would be keen to try a clicker.....? |

| Yes, Molly is clicker trained. There are some very good videos on YouTube. I haven't used the clicker in months. I slowly stopped using it as Molly could do without it. |

| Yup LOVE clicker training; although we don't use the actual clicker a lot anymore. We've developed a really good communication skills between us, so it's not entirely necessary. I really need to make a new video, but here's from about a year and a half ago... all positive reinforcement!

| The clicker is GREAT! After she learns the action really well I quit using it & rely on verbal and/or hand signals. Then when learning something new start using it again. Yorkies are very good at learning tricks. I guess anything to keep those treats a coming.

| I use the clicker with Teaka on occasion. She learns so fast with it. I think its the treat that comes after it that really motivates her. She knows: Sit, down, focus, stay, come. We're learning 'drop it' at the moment. That might take a while. Shes possessive over her toys. Shes 3 but I find it much easier to train her with the clicker than just my voice and hand motions alone. I just need to find a very very low calorie teeny tiny treat that I can give her afterward. That she'll actually eat. Any ideas?

| You could cut up green beans as a treat if she'll eat those. I cut the little Bill-Jack treats in half to use.
