| Help..bella is pooping me out!!! Bella, I got her when she was 10 weeks old and now she is 7 months old at first I decided to potty train her on the pad she was doing good she was going on the pad...I bought a babygate and that helped me alot, now that Bella is bigger she is able to climb over the babygate and go upstairs and she just poops everywhere upstairs ...I used the baby gate to blocked the stairway when I go to work and when I come home she is trapped upstairs and done pooped everywhere. I take her outside for walks and she pee and poop..I don't know what to do... |

| Maybe you could try a different style gate to keep her from going upstairs. I have two gates I use to block rooms off from Kiko. Both gates have smooth plastic panels. One has clear panels, the other is sort of a frosted look. They are a lot harder to climb over because there aren't holes for them to get there little paws into to climb over. |

| I had my husband cut a piece of plywood to go across the bottom stair. I had a tiny poodle that could climb anything, except that. There isnt anything to put paws in or on,it is just smooth. |

| Do you free feed or schedule feed? There is no wrong answer, but as a person who works - the schedule feed works best for us as eat=potty. Can you gate off to one specific room while you are at work? I started with a small room during potty training and then increased the space with his progress. I used the pads in the beginning by the door just to get him familiar to go to the door when he had to go. Then every time he went to the door, we opened it and took him outside. Lots of outside time at first, lol - but it worked. Give HUGE praises, love and a treat when she goes outside - eventually she will get it. Good Luck!
