| Help! Switched pen for crate.. When we brought Luma home, we decided to train her to potty pads and put her in an exercise pen. Well, she learned to climb out of said pen and we were getting very frustrated, so we just returned her pen for a crate. (Petsmart is AWESOME with returns! We didn't even have a receipt, they switched it for a store credit and I got the $25 difference on a gift card! ) Any tips at all on crate training? So far I assembled the crate and put her bed and a blanket in it. I put a treat in the crate and let her go in to investigate. She took the treat and ran under the bed

| I don't really have any advice on the Crates..... I bought this Suite Retreat in the Medium/Large size.... I put Riley's bedding and toy area on one side and a peepee pad with a peepee pad holder on the other side. He trained to the pad very very quickly. I put it next to my bed in the bedroom.... Never had any problems. ProSelect Suite Retreat Pet Pens | PetEdge.com At only 8-months he had full run of my bedroom, night and day... and about 9-months had full run of my whole place!! He's been soooo Good!! Hope this helps!! |

| I had purchased a pen with a lid and bottom.... maybe a better option for her as downsizing is hard to do...
