| Yay ! Oscar went potty in his litterbox on his own... Without any coaxing from me oscar just walked in his box and went pee. I am so proud of him. It may sound silly i guess but it is such a relief to know there is hope... I think the trick was locking in a potty pad. I don't think he likes the feeling of the grate. The box is still very useful because it has 9 in walls on 3 sides and my little rascal likes to hike his leg when he pees... I would like to say to anyone else who feels lost like me when it comes to potty training, there is hope. Just hang in there.... |

| LOL!!!! I remember that feeling!! And then I was unbelievably happy/proud when we went to my parents house and I put a pad in the corner and walked by and saw a little pee spot right in the middle of it..... And then later a poo..... I was sooo excited I was announcing to everyone everytime he would go on it!! LOL!!!! |

| Oh My GOD!!! I was just about to post a FINALLY!! Thread but I saw yours. Bella is now peeing and pooping on the pad by herself!!! I was so proud of her. Yesterday I left her alone without being in the crate, I was gone for about 3 hours while driving home I was expecting pee and poop to be all over the floor...and to my surprise no poop or pee anywhere!! It was all on her pad!...All I can say to the new yorkie owners is KEEP TRYING AND BE CONSISTANT IT REALLY WORKS!!! |

congrats to you and bella !! I know , isn't it awesome. Oscar just did it again. I was watching tv and looked over and he went poo in his litterbox all on his own. I jumped up and cheered and gave him a treat. Yes patience and consitency does really work... | |
