| Sudden crate hate Hi there, I'm new to YT and to yorkies in general. I got a lovely little girl from someone who picked her up from a breeder and then realized the responsibility and got buyer's remorse. She is 8 weeks and has been a surprisingly good pup at night in the crate, going to sleep and waking up with a yip every couple of hours to be let out to sleep. However, last night she completely lost it and screamed the entire night. Her crate is in the room and she can see me, and I do not respond to the crying except when to take her out to the bathroom, but it kept up the whole family and now I am scared it will happen again tonight. I am wondering if there is something I might have done to make her hate the crate, or if this night was a fluke. I know she is a little thing, but I don't want to make any mistakes since she has been passed around so much at this point. Any tips? Thanks! |
