| Help... Peppe is over one years old now, and i am at the point where i dont know what else to do to train him... Ive read on alot of forums he needs to be put on a set schedule, but with my work schedule its not always the same, and sometimes i am not here to bring him outside... Ive also tried pee-pads he will not use it... he goes wherever he wants, whenever he wants ... and he knows its wrong cause as soon as he does it, and he knows ive seen it he will go and hide... I do not want to crate train him during the day when i am not home because i feel horribly to leave him in a little crate all day ... especially when he is not used to it I dont know what else to do, if anyone has any tips at all, please let me know |

| Yes, this is a start and you can put several pads down together so if he should potty, he might use the pad. since your schedule is so irratic, this will help to at least keep Peppe from pottying all over the house and have some room to roam around in. I would suggest putting his crateb/bed, pad, water and food in this area. Make it like a little den for him. This will help you in not being so frustrated and this will transfer to Peppe. If and when you see him using the pad, praise, praise, praise and more praise. He will get it eventually.

| Great advice Bo. Sometimes giving the pups free roam before they're ready can actually do more harm than good when it comes to potty training. Also, go back and clean his usual potty spots with enzymatic cleaner to help eliminate any smell. Even if your nose can't detect a smell, his can.
