| While I was training ZoE commands, I would routinely carry kibble around in the pockets of whatever I was wearing. Once she knew the commands, I would randomly do them throughout the day, sometimes she got a treat & praise, sometimes just praise.

| I am having a similar issue! Sit is the first command I have tought my baby Hunter and he is very good when I have food....but without food...not so much. however recently I have noticed he will sit when asked or even sometimes when not asked when he wants something (getting let out of his expen, getting a lift up onto the couch, and when waiting for us to throw a toy for him to fetch)! I dont know if this is part of the normal training process because my puppys attention span is pretty short or what? Yesterday I started working on down so we will see if he can actually learn the sit command with the verbal cue or not I guess hahaha |
