| 2 yr. old yorkie boy was trained, is not going potty on my kitchen floor during the My 2 year old male yorkie, Riley, (he's fixed) was trained. We put in a doggie door and he's let out often to the yard all day long (when we go out)... he's now decided to start going potty on our kitchen floor. We have no idea why... My husband is up early in the morning at 4am and lets him out to potty... he feeds him and lets him out to our backyard again... If my husband has to do something on the computer or hes not paying attention to Riley, he does potty on the floor. Any suggestions to break this habit would be greatly appreciated... |

| Hi and Welcome to YT! Hmmmm... maybe DH needs to pay attention to him until he goes potty outside, then get on the computer. Or lock the doggy door and get up to let him back in. My older dog gets confused or nosey and comes in before he's done all his business outside. I watch him when he comes back in, and if he gives any signs of needing to go back out, I let him out a second time so he can finish. He does this more often in cold weather, I think he needs to warm up inbetween...lol
