| humping female? My 4 month old FEMALE yorkie, Tinkerbell, just this week started humping on our arms and legs. She seems to only do it during agressive play times. Is this normal? Should I be looking into getting her fixed already or is this a dominance issue? Thanks for any advice! |

| Humping is usually a dominance issue. My little girl Jada has done it a couple of times and I told her no and just removed her (both times it was with my little guy Bogie and it would be when he would want on my lap) She hasn't done it since.

| Princess used to grab onto my arm when I'd have her ball when we were playing fetch. It would be hard to remove her, I was afraid I'd break her front legs mostly! She wouldn't listen to "No" or anything else. Since she's been spayed she does it way less & also responds when I tell her to stop.

| Ziva is just turning 2 this week and I just realized I haven't seen her "do" her favorite toy in quite a while. She was spayed at 6 months but seemed like she did it more like a release- when she was overtired- or things didn't go her way. She really has calmed down a lot in the past 6 months! |

YT Addict | Tikka did it for the first time this morning... but I'm not sure what her deal is lol. Pooter isn't usually in his playful mood until after lunch time, but Tikka is ready to play at 7:30am lol. She will go find Pooter where ever he is sleeping and lay face to face with him and whine and whine and nip at him until he gets up and moves... then she follows him, batting her paws at him like a cat as they walk. Usually it ends with Pooter letting out his high pitch shriek of a bark and a nip at Tikka then Tikka retreats... but today she got mad and tried humping him, even from behind just like a male would do to her. She is in her first heat, and I believe in the last week possibly. Could this have anything to do with it lol. [Pooter my male pom, is fixed! He hasn't even been so interested as to sniff her, let alone hump her... he's pretty much a girl himself :P]
