My 4 month old yorkie won't poop and pee in the same place??? Hello everyone, I really need help here. I have had my yorkie for about a month. I'm training her with wee wee pads. She pees on them with no problem. She'll even pee and look for us b/c she knows she gets a treat! The problem is, she will only poop on the pad once in a while. I don't understand why she is peeing on the pad but not pooping. Does anyone have this problem or know how to correct it?? I was so excited that she caught onto the wee wee pad so fast but then realized she only half way caught on. I'm desperate here. Please help me!

I've had the same prob with Princess. I heard you should take their poop and put it where you want it to go, then praise her while you give the potty command when she smells it. They're supposed to eventually get the message. I'm hoping to try this outside soon...once it warms up enough that she can concentrate. hope we both find success soon!

Thank you!! I will have to try that. I was putting her poop on the pad but then she started eating/playing with it when I was at work! So I had to pick it up as soon as I saw it and started giving her the "bad habit" pills. Now that she doesn'teat/ play with it I will try it again! lol

They usually do not like to poo and pee in the same place. Maybe try two separate pads.

I clicked on this thread because I have the same problem - good idea, I don't know why I didn't think of that lol. Alice poops on the opposite side of the room from where her wee wee pad is that she does pee on fine. Gonna try putting a second pad down
