| Help peeing on carpet in bedroom! So i just got a new bedroom set and my room is set up pretty differently now but i made sure to put her pee pad in the same place it was before. She was very good about going on the pad before so i felt it ok to allow her free roam of my room and she never had any accidents. So this morning i woke up and went to sit at my computer desk and found poop on the carpet in the corner beside the desk, not sure how long it was there but i could tell it was "fresh". This really shocked me because never did this before. Just now she woke up from her nap.. i took her off my bed and put her on the pad and she walked over to the same corner where i found the poop, squated and started peeing!!! i immediately told her NO! and put her on her pad. I went to investigate the spot and the carpet there is smelly and kind of stiff i think she's been peeing there secretly during the night since the furniture moved in. How do i stop this i dont know why she's doing this, i'm gonna give the carpet a good scrub. Should i start crating her again during the night? |

| If I let Bijou sleep with me (when Hubby is out of town) it's a 50/50 if she'll jump down off the bed and have an accident. If I keep her locked in the laundry room she doesn't.

No Longer a Member | Give the carpet a good scrub and use an enzyme cleaner to clear any left over odors that only she can smell. Then I recommend putting a potty pad down in that spot, since she seems to like going to that area. Eventually you'll be able to move the pad to a better spot and she should go to the pad. Yorkies are funny little creatures, I went through this around x-mas, I had the tree set up and for some reason Rizzo couldn't stop peeing on the tree skirt, I put a pad right where he kept going and after a week I moved the pad next to the tree skirt and he went to the pad instead of the skirt. I did manage to get it pretty far from the tree and presents, but then x-mas was over Good luck! |

Donating YT Addict | I would try to put a few more pee-pads into your room until she is used too the way that the room is set it, I think this could be because only of the change, because when I moved rooms in my house she did this so I just put down a couple extra pads & then when I really moved moved, I did that too-a couple in each room & she would decide on one usually & use that one more than others, so that is the one I would pick to stay & now we are back to a couple in the house rather than a couple in each room, she just needs to adjust
