| Seperation anxiety? The vet once told me Bella might have seperation anxiety because she freaks out when I come home from work . She cries nonstop and nothing can calm her down . Especially when she's been home alone but that's rare . Even when she's home with my mom or something nd I leave for like 5 minutes she still reacts but not as bad . I just want to know if anybody has gone or is going through the same thing and if there is anything I can do to calm her Down when I get home ??? |

| I have only had my little Charlie for almost a week and he does the same thing. If I put him in his crate besides sleeping he whines all the time and while I'm gone. Or if I put up the baby gate in the kitchen and walk away the same thing. I hope it gets better! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | These little guys do not like to be alone. Tallulah is ok as long as she can see me. But if I leave the room she starts fussing, and if I'm gone for more than a minute or two she starts screaming like a banshee. She's so loud I can her her from my driveway when she's in the bedroom on the opposite side of the house. Someday a neighbor is going to call the police thinking that someone is being murdered in there. |

| It's heartbreaking to see them like that, isn't it? Do you make a big deal of it when you come home? I think, with pups like this, that it is better to just come in and ignore them (very difficult) for a bit and then go greet them in a calm manner - as though you haven't been gone. Try this approach and do the same thing when you are leaving. Don't make a big deal out of leaving or returning home and perhaps your pup will soon realize it really isn't a big deal.

My Bella has seperation anxiety too ...I don't care if I'm gone 5 minutes or 5 hours, she goes nuts when I return...I can't calm her down...even when my hubby is home with her and I go out, hubby says she sits on the coffee table staring at the door until I come home, so what I do is I sit on the sofa and say hi once I have said my hellos to her I get up and I pay no more attention to her until she calm down than I let her outside to potty...but if I keep paying attention to her she will not stop crying, so I found this works for me.

| Thanks to everyone for there replies!! Yeah anytime Bella stays home with anybody they say she stands at the door crying the whole time . But my problem is my arrival ! I have tried ignoring her but I don't think there's anyway of that she jumps wherever I am and like kisses my face , lol.. And cries histerically . It's really sad because I wish I didn't have to ignore her but I will do anything to calm her down! But thank god now i know I'm not the only one |
