| Why is potty training "soooo much fun!" Oh my... so when you think everything is perfect... it all falls apart. So last night I have Harley on the bed, I turn around and within two seconds he's peed on the bed. Ugh. Today I let him out of his room, and cue him to his mat, which I've been starting training for. and he lays on it, then he gets up and pees on it.... an hour later I catch him trying to poop on the carpet. BAH. he's a year old and I swear he's barely had any troubles, I have no idea what's gotten into him, lol... Maybe all the training, he's been getting a lot of "treats" (most of which are chicken broth soaked kibble), so he's been drinking more. I guess I need to relearn his schedule... it just urked me cause the mat was like 10ft from his grid. Oh well, I guess we'll have to keep over praising him for the proper potties... So much for my potty trained puppy.

| I know what you mean. Ivy is almost 15 wks old, so I've started crate training. Well, the first day, I decided to hold her when she wasn't in her crate. I held her all day, other than the 3-4 hrs that day that she spent in her crate total for that day. Well, the one time, I decide to let her sit on my desk as I'm working, she decides she wants to pee ON MY DESK without any hint that she needed to go. I caught her in midstream and scooped her up and took her outside. The joys of potty training, right? LOL |

| Yeah, we've had a hard week. I swear it's been like 3 months since his last big accident and he's been pretty solid with the training... and this week has been hell. Like I don't understand whats going on... but I think I may have put my finger on it... I just bought him a new water bowl, a bigger one, and I think he's drinking more, which could explain the extra pees. But ugh... I just need to rant. So last night it killed me to stick him back in his crate. He spent the whole night in the crate, but he did hit his tray as soon as he got up... maybe/hopefully it wont take as long to get the potty training back again.

| Yeah this morning I discovered that part of Harley's mistakes were dribbles from him walking away from the tray before he was done.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Exactly. When I let T go unsupervised, I usually find a perfect round spot on the pad with a trail of drops leading away from it. She's so busy, I guess she just can't wait to finish before she's on to the next important thing in her life. |
