| Sock biting/ankle biting so the breeder gave Elvis and his siblings knotted up old socks to chew on. I'm sure they didn't think much of it since it was warm and no one was wearing socks at the time. Well now he attacks our socks and pant legs and has occasionally bitten my ankle. The pants and ankles are more play, the socks, when he gets them, is more of a chewing/teething behavior. Give me your best ideas! |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I'm going through a similar thing with Scarlett and my slippers. My trainer said to carry around a squirt bottle while wearing them and to zap her with it as soon as she goes for them. I'm not sure it will work, as I have a doxie that used to look around for the spray bottle before doing something he knew he shouldn't ...

| I learned my lesson about the sock thing when I gave my pek a knoted-up sock when she was a baby (almost 13 years old). She soon learned that any sock available was a play toy. My son had a pool party and all the kids took their shoes and socks off. Well...long story short...she took all the socks. We couldn't keep her away from them. Lots of toys!!!! |
