Senior Yorkie Talker | Therapy dog Is anyone's baby a therapy dog? I am thinking about trying to get my puppy certified. I know how difficult it will be but it would be so rewarding. I will have to wait until he's a little older and does some obedience classes before we can start the CGC class. I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this. Thanks in advance. <3 |

| Awesome!!! I SO wish I could get Jackson into therapy work but it's just not his personality. He wouldn't enjoy it. He's much more of an agility dog. I don't know a whole lot about therapy work. I know Delta Society does that kind of stuff. YT username alaskayorkie knows more. His dog, Eddie, is a CTD.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | What type of therapy are you looking to have him do? My plan is to have Rhett be a CTD to work in the schools. I'm excited to get going on it, too.

| I would like information on this also. I'd LOVE to take Beau to visit the local nursing home on a regular basis. He's still WAY to hyper right now...LOL. I guess that's to be expected at 7 months. What age do they "normally" calm down a little. |

| Therapy Dog Hi I live in Canada and my girl, Catie is 4.5 months old. She goes to work with me everyday and helps traumatized and behaviorally challenged youth cope in a healthy manner. When she is one year old I will enroll her into the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog program. However, until that time arrives, she will attend obedience training and continue to go to work with me. |

| Therapy Dogs Both JB and I are Hospice Volunteers. DJ, rest his little soul, was Pet Therapy certified and brought such joy and smiles to the nursing home residents and patients. Zack and Zoey are both PT certified and continue in DJ path. I would wait until at least a year old. Zack and Zoey were around 4 and 5 yrs old. DJ was around 6. They are rescues so we never really know how old they actually are. Please ask Hospices in your area about both you and your pup becoming volunteers and getting certified. Feel free to PM any questions.

| Fynnlie's going to be a therapy dog! He's enrolled in puppy classes now and when he's one, he'll be enrolled in the therapy class! YAY!
