| Introducing baby Yorkie to other dogs Hi Everyone, Please can you give me advise on how to safely introduce my new boy to my other dogs. Chivas is an 22 month old Great Dane bitch (still young and playfull) Whiskey is a 10 year old x bred (smallish like a full size daschhund). He is older and a bit grumpier My concern is more introducing him to a co-male dog, but I could be very wrong - maybe the female might be a problem? What I have done so far is to leave his basket outside so they can get the smell of Danny-Boy. I have also let him be smelled while i am sitting down on the ground with him. What behaviour should I watch out for from the older dogs etc, to see when to remove him from the intro etc. Your help will be much appreciated! |
