| Any Suggestions? Okay so as a first time yorkie mom I have another issue that I am not sure how to resolve. My yorkie (16 wks) is now doing very well on her paper training. She will go to her pads from any area in the house! YAY!! But she is still going in her kennel. It is small, she only has about enough room to turn around and lay down inside. She is taken out every 3-4 hours and is always allowed to run and play for a "free time" period after she eats. I am doing everything that the websites say to do but she seems to not care if she poops and pees where she sleeps. It happens all the time. HELP!! |

| Glad to hear your pup likes the pee pads. Excellent! As for the kennel, 3-4 hours is too long during the day for a pup that age. Overnight is okay. Give her potty opportunities more often. Depending on her size, she may need to go as often as every 1-2 hours during waking hours. If you are pad training and she likes the pads, try an xpen with her kennel on one side and pad on the other. |
