| Day three of the Seven day potty training Ok, today is day 3 of trying to train Mia not to pee in the house. I am using the 7 day plan I found here. So far so good. Lots of time in her crate which is hard on me as I feel so bad I have to leave the house. BUT, I have noticed that having her in the crate 3-4 hours helps her. She doesn't get crazy. She is resting and prior to this training she never stopped. I think she was overtired like a child and this is a much needed rest. Wish me luck with the training! Any one else have luck with this method? |

| I don't think I've heard of this 7 day method but I may be interested. I have my girls trained to go outside and to use pads inside but I wish I would have never trained them to use the pads. It does come in handy in hotels when we travel but I would love to retrain them to hold it and go outside only but Megan has trouble holding overnight...she always gets up and goes on the pad at some point. Is this method in a book or online somewhere? Good luck with your training. |

| Hi, I found the article on the dog training section here at YT. I guess the dog is suppose to be totally house trained in 7 days! Mia turns 7 months old in a few days and will just look at me and squat and pee. We moved a few weeks ago and that set her back. |

| I trained my brother and my ex husbands yorkies with the seven day method. It works GREAT! As long as you are consistent and follow the directions. I have tried to train my yorkie girl, but I made the mistake of pad training her when I first got her. BIG MISTAKE! I think once you pad train, your yorkie thinks its okay to piddle in the house. Now I am re-training her again Stick with it. Not to mention, the crate training comes in great with leaving your baby and giving them a safe place to rest.
