| Assistance Needed I absolutley love my little Trixie Leigh, but she is almost 2 yrs old and we are still having difficulty potty training her! She used to have full roam of the house, but recently we have resorted to using a puppy gate and leaving her in the utility room while we work, but she has been shredding her puppy pad to pieces....I take her out every morning and as soon as I get home we go for a walk...I really wish I could let her run around all day while I'm at work, but I just can't stand the mess she makes...please halp any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! |

| Welcome to YT! Continue to restrict Trixie's freedom in your home until the potty problems are under control. In addition to your 2 walks, what potty method does Trixie use when you are home with her -- pad or outside? Does she potty where she is supposed to when you are home? Have you tried a pad holder tray? |

| you may want to try a pad holder or taping the pad down. Also, washable pads may help??

| When I'm home she does her "tee tee dance" lots of circles in front of the front door and I take her out! It's when I'm gone she tends to go where she pleases! She really isnt a bad puppy, but it tends to get old coming home everyday to shredded puppy pads! I might have to switch to the washable kind! I've also tried the pad holder and she refused to use it! She likes the familiar...once I tried to get an automatic water system for her, but once she drank it down so far it would make bubbles and she refused...lol! Their little personalitites are just too funny! But thanks so much for allthe advice! |
