| Miss Pee Pee Pants Well I read anbout Mr. Pee pee Paws but I have Miss Pee Pee Pants She is one of my rescues(Pomchi) and driving me NUTS. She is 13 weeks and .. hmmm about 1 1/2 lbs maybe 2lbs. tops and is getting her housebreaking BACKWARDS. EVERYTIME she pees then she rolls in it THEN BARKS to be let out because she doesn't like being a Pee Pot. I don't know what happened. She was doing Ok and not peeing in the crate then started this backwards thing. She gets out about every 2 hours and sometimes it can be up to 4 if I'm out somewhere , but 2 hours is the usual. I wash the crate out with cleaner everytime and even change up cleaners in case she is thinking to PEE when she smells a certain cleaner SIGHHHHHHHHHHHH Maybe she just likes getting baths a hundred times a day

| My 6 pound puppy needs to go out MUCH more frequently during the day than every 2-4 hours. I would think such a small pup would need to go out more often (due to small bladder size). Can you try taking Miss Pee Pee Pants out more frequently to see what happens? How did the poor little thing end up being a rescue at such a young age? |

| She will pee and roll in it even if I take her out every1/2 hour ...honestly!!! Itried cutting back and not giving her water so much at certain times but this doesn't seem to effect the habit. She pees and then swims in it.. then barks to get out of the pee I got her so young because She was gotton by a dear lady I know and it turned out the lady was terribly allergic. She had no idea since she has a dog already . the place she got it from said they would take it back but only return a portion of her money. She decided she would rather take the loss and let me try through the rescue to rehome it. I have been working on housetraining to make her more adoptable . She is doing well on the poop thing but the pee thing is harder. I'm thinking it might be an attention thing and am going to have to try something new other then crate training. I work VERY hard with the rescues and sometimes some of them are a bit harder to housebreak. It usually is in the best interest for me to keep them a bit and at least start them housebreaking , rather then shove them in a newhome right away. This helps make he new parents happier , which in turn makes better lasting relationships so I don't end up getting them back LOT"S MORE WORK FOR ME THOUGH!!!!....LOLOLOLOLOLOL

| Yep it is in the crate. if I let her out to roam she will pee and poop. I also tried putting her in a pen instead of a crate and she peed and pooped 2x as much. It was crazy. I tried her again in the pen overnight instead of crate and once again she peed and pooped ALL OVER!!!!!! I'm guessing I will just have to keep being strict with the crate. I have it just big enough for her to stand and turn around. I take her right out everytime she comes out and then let her have playtime for doing her business outside. She usually gets about an hour free play each time she goes outside. What I don't understand isthat she was doing good in the crate then Whammo she peed one time and then that was that. Plus she does know to bark to get out because she does it everytime after she rolls in it!!!!!! . By the way...LOL.. she really only barks after peeing and rolling .Most of the other times she barks is pretty much only if one of the other dogs is harassing her . My Cowboy likes to try and pounce her for play but she usually is the winner and then they toddle along like best friends. They also tend to do tongue make-outs quite a bit which I always roll on the floor laughing at

| When my Laila was a little baby she use to be a little Poopie Girl! I tried the crate thing, and she pooped in the crate and then got it all over herself! My dad was the first to find her and had to give her a bath and wash out her crate. Then I tried to gate her in the laundry room. She would stand and bark at the edge of the gate and pee and poopie while barking!!! Then she would pace back and forth and keep stomping it into the floor. Every morning I got up I would have to clean the 'poop smashings.' It took a month or so, but each time she would have less poop, and eventually it stopped. I even had the potty pads in her gated area - she would poop around it like a border!!! Crazy Yorkie Kids! She grew out of it when she was better able to hold her bowls, maybe your baby just needs a little time to realize what is going on down there. Good luck!

| Are you putting something in the bottom of the crate? I had a dog one time that if I put something soft in there he would pee on it. But I stopped putting it in there and he stopped peeing in the crate. HTH

| I have another idea which probably won't work but did for me once. Do like the other member said and take her out every half hour. Pick her up from the crate (don't let her walk) and take her to the same spot in the yard (they love the same spot) when they get older. Of course you're not going to be running thru a 24 hr period every 30 min. but quite often so she wants to do it in that spot and this way you will get her before she has a chance to do it in the crate. That's why these very little ones take so much time. You are an angel !!

| I do always take them straight out from getting out of a crate or pen enclosure. I always take them out the same door to the same spot. Sometimes a pain because everybody is housed in the living room and the front door is right there, but we always go out the back door because less chance of scooting away into the road from the back door.
