| Help Ruby is 14 months old and is usually sweet tempered (although very protective if we are laying on the floor or the bed) but just lately when stroking her she will turn around very quickly and growl or try to bite (she has never actually has bitten just holds your hand in her mouth) why is she doing this all of a sudden - open to any suggestions when we say no she stops immediately but this makes us all nervous as she is totally unpredictable. Also she is always barking at my 23yr old daughter and goes to bite her when she is leaving the house or walks past me when she is on my lap? she is used to being left and has the run of the kitchen when we are out. At first she just used to go to her bed when we were leaving but now she runs down the hall and growls and tries to bite when we pick her up to put her into the kitchen to leave. |

| I think it would be wise to have her checked by the vet first. With a sudden change in behavior, you just never know... |

| before i leave the house, i gate the area first, then i throw a treat to lexi, as she runs for the treat, i run for the door. i do this every single day... i also throw her her kong with peanut butter in it,so after the treat, she goes after the kong and im way gone by that time. i dont even hear her cry anymore. im probably half way to work by that time..
