| Tries to chase cars My yorkie is 11 months old and my family is crazy about him.The thing is when I walk him he tries to chase cars like he's crazy or something. He'll sit there and try to wait on cars and I find myself having to really pull him along to try to get him to walk when he does this With 3 children I'm afraid one day someone might let him out accidently and he'll get hit by a car. of course we don't let him out ever intentionally without a leash. Anyone know how I might break this bad habit? |

| I am not sure what you can do. I have not had a dog do this but I have had dogs chase my car and it is scary. Maybe he might get over it as he is still young. Possibly if he gets frightened off of chasing a car somehow he might stop. maybe if somebody you know could drive slowly down the road and beep at him with their car it might scare him from doing it?? |

YT 500 Club Member | Could do with the awnser myself, though Alfie tries to chase motorbikes. All he has to do is hear the engine and he goes balistic. I do stop, and make him sit if I notice it first and it helps slightly but only if I can do it before he notices. Not much help with cars though as theres many more of them than bikes. |
