YT 500 Club Member | A successful walk. Ever since Rosie could go out I've wanted her to have the same freedom to run and play on our daily walks, but the little madam gets onto the trail of a smell or sees a dog or person in the distance and takes off, this has meant restricting her to an extending lead which seams to only encourage her to pull when walking around the streets. Tried food rewards, she not intrested. Today I places Alfies ordinary lead onto her harness and led her drag in along the floor, didn't like it at first but was okay after awhile. If she went too far it was simple to step on the lead and stop her and tell her wait, she very quickly cottened on what was wanted of her, comming back when called and of corse she got lots and lots of praise. We ended on a really good note with her walking at heel on a loose lead along the streets. |

| Delightful...a good dog walk is a wonderful stress reliever and it is such an enjoyable part of the day. Glad you had a good walk!

| Excellent! Walking with a dog not pulling is SO much more enjoyable for both dog & human.
