| Has Anyone tried the porgram by "Don Sullivan called The Perfect Pet?" I hve a "teapot" yorkie and he is awful!!! I have tried the reward system, and neumerous other training methods to no avail, He will be 2 at christmas and we have just moved. I have to keep a belly band on him in the house which I HATE ut I cannot trust him. He will pooo in on spot in the house but NOT on the pee pad. It is like he is defiant or something From the infomertial many of the tactics are strict but I am desperate I was wondering if anyone used this system. any feedback woul be gladly accpted.

| It is prong collar training and it is not a good idea on even a tea pot yorkie or actually any dog. Also it is not anything that you can not get else where cheaper. Most of the ladies here could advice you bettter and save you a bunch of money and say about just about the same thing. Except non of them would use a prong collar on a yorkie. JL

| Never heard of the system but if it's w/ a prong collar, I would advise you not to use it. The pottying issues.... you will just have to go back to basics. Keep him in an ex-pen or a crate when you're not able to watch. Let him outside when he has to go, praise him like crazy when he goes, and then he goes right back into the ex-pen or locked area of the house. Don't give him free roam if he's not at all trustworthy. You could also attach a leash to you and he will be with you at all times. Also, remember to clean up previous stops with an enzyme cleaner such as Nature's Miracle to get rid of the smell or he will always continue going there. Also, is he neutered?

| Training He is probably upset about the move. We had a Doxie once who would poo right in front of us when he was upset with us. We did not have a pee probelm with him though. Have him checked to make sure he does not have a UTI. Also, you might have him checked for diabetes. |

| Thanks ladies, I guess I will go back to the basics AGAINIt is quite a delima since I need to be home most of the time to watch him because my DH is handicapped and we have a 17 yr old Beagle who has accidents..... He can't let Daisy out and take Cooper for a walk!!! I know I know there are no quick fixes. but thanks, I am bumping this up again

| I did purchase the system on Ebay but have not yet tried it. The DVD has a lot of good tips but I am afraid of the plastic choke collar, our 7 month old Minnie is a terror. She barks at my husband all the time and growls, she bites our hands, more him then me. |
