YT 500 Club Member | Goes outside too pee but decides carpet is much better for his royal tush to poop! Baaaad dog. He's been doing this for about a week now! But only in the morning? There's no poo, then we take him out, he pees and we just come back inside and leave the door open for him, and go upstairs and get ready and he pooped! On the floor! What? What's wrong with grass? Where is this coming from? Did he here me say neuter?

| Take a treat with you when you go out and tell him he will get a treat after he goes poo or what ever you say, and then give him a treat immediately after he does his business. If he finds he gets rewarded for doing his business outside, he should stop doing it inside. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | A lot of dogs prefer to poop indoors. If this is recent, I agree, make sure to give him a treat for going outside, and don't give him the opportunity to poop indoors in the morning. Does he poop on command? You can have that be part of your morning routine. You can say "Do your business" if you don't like "#2".

| Sounds just like my Molly was. It took her a little longer to get the poop thing outside. I started walking her a little longer in the am finally she got it! Good luck and lots of patience |
