| Nose on pad but misses wee-wee!!!! My little Louie tries to go on the pad and 90% of the time misses it?? I don't get it, he doesn't like to go all the way on the pad...he'll go on the very edge of the pad and he might as well pee on the floor because it goes everywhere. How can I teach him to stand on the pad and not on the edge to do his thing??? Some days he's better than others, but most of the time it's out of control. I tried putting 2 pads side by side to make it a bigger area so that he won't miss and no luck-his nose goes on the pad and his wee-wee doesn't. Any suggestions???

| LOL..Okay, thought I was the only one with "two" boys in the house with bad aim (my Louie and my hubby) He's great with his poops, rarely ever misses-and his poops are easy if he does, but the pee-goes all down the tile grout line and I have to wipe, scrub the grout with vinegar and water and then wipe again with a neutralizer...yikes! I'm pooped from cleaning pee!

| Louie uses the pad more than once-but he doesn't pee on top of pee, he has to have a "new" spot on the pad. It also depends on how much he pees, sometimes he pees so much that it covers half the pad and I toss it, other times it's a little bit and he'll pee on it another 3-4 times. In between there he also goes outside. He's trained outside and inside, I try to take him outside as much as possible-but he has his days where he's peeing every 15 mins. it seems like and I can't keep up with it so that's when he uses or misses the wee-wee!

| Patty, Drake had that very same problem and although I'm definitely not an expert, I would like to tell you that what I did was bought a shallow litterbox and put his pad inside it, so that he would have to step into it in order to go! He didn't mind it all and it worked for us! The only problem was, although he was neutered at a very young age, and I was told he would NEVER hike his leg....WRONG (lol).....once he decided to start hiking, he hiked up against the litterbox, which defeated the whole purpose! lol I was told he was hiking because he was watching Harley (my yorkie-poo that is trained to go outside only) hike his leg and he was being a copycat! Drake hasn't been outside as much and has stopped the leg hiking though....thank goodness! Although the hiking itself was quite aggravating, I have to tell you it was HILARIOUS to watch him copy Harley outside.....especially since Harley weighs 22 lbs. and Drake is 4 lbs.! lol |

i had this same problem with lucky. and what i did to correct this is i started putting the pads in a box. every weekend i do my weekly trip to costco and befor i leave i grad a few flat boxes. i put a couple of pee pad on the floor. put the boxes on top leaving a little around the edges to catch the overfill and so far it works. he mostly pee's inside the box. but when hes being real lazy he may stand on the edge of the box and pee on the outside but he still gets it on the pad. try this. after about 2 days he got it. no more edges all inside the box. p.s. he likes 2 boxes one for pee and one for poop. wont use same for everything. although he mostly poops outside. lol
