| So embarrassed please help!!! I would love some advice on how to deal with this. Keoki is wee wee pad and also outdoor trained- I walk him up to 4 times a day and he does his business both outside and inside but whenever I take him to my neighbors he pee pee's on the floor!!! Today he actually lifted his leg on the corner of their wall- I was horrified and said "NO" and moved him away from the wall- what else can I do? Am I doing something wrong? He does drink alot of water but I want to be able to take him to my friends house without having to worry. Before I brought him over to their house I gave him a long walk?! I would really appreciate any suggestions- thanks so much!!! |

| Sounds like he is marking. Has he been neutered? You may want to use a belly band when you visit your neighbor. |

| When he pees in other ppls houses, does he pee for like two seconds each time but a often? If so, he may be trying to be dominant or marking. You will have to teach him that YOU are alpha and u may want to get a belly band to stop him from marking if that is the case. |

| I think it is more a territorial issue. He could be marking. I have never used them but I am sure that others will probably suggest a belly band. We brought Hot Rod onto a friends boat and he tinkled, fortunately on a carpet saver pad, I was so embarrassed...he had never done anything like that before but they do have a male poodle.

Thor's Human Donating Member | A lot of neutered males mark. Thor was neutered very early, and he is a little marking machine. He is good about not peeing indoors UNLESS he smells another dog, and then all bets are off. Just get him some belly bands, it will save you a lot of stress.
