| I need advice..... Okay my Roxy is about 8 1/2 months old now... She is a little stubborn/ spoiled/cute/demon/ (did I mention spoiled LOL!!!! ) yorkie... I am having such a hard time with her.. Sometimes I don't know what it is that I am doing wrong. She has the training thing down with the pee and poop on pad. My only concern now is her playing with her poop like its a stuff toy.. I don't know how many toys I have to buy her so she can be entertained. I'm going broke buying all these cleaners and paper towel to clean up after her. She has access to the kitchen and the bedroom.. My apt is really small so there isn't enough room. I would have given her access to the whole house but decided not to because I don't have enough closet space to puppy proof it. And I know that dogs get curious as to what is what LOL!!! Below are pictures of what my kitchen and her gate looks like. When I leave her and if she has to poop OMG I leave for 2 hours and come back I have a HUGE mess.. I'm talking about I'm gagging cleaning it up because its all over the floor and in the grout YUK!!!!!! I am eager to know what you might suggest that I can do for her. Not only does she play with it but if she is up to it she will eat it for that I have tried. Deter I have tried nasty habits I have tried pineapple chunks, juice, hot sauce, pumpkin, EVERYTHING I just don't know what to do anymore. I wanted to crate train her but its pointless because she just poops and pee's in there. Even though its just big enough for her to turn and lay down in. I'm out of options I don't know what to do. I'm going out of my mind and did I mention broke pics 106.jpg The door you see in pic is my bedroom which she has steps to get on and off of the bed..... pics 107.jpg See the discoloring in my moldings thats her boredom as well.. LOL!!!

| Thanks... I hope so to... Last night I put her in the kennel to sleep she usually sleeps with me in the bed but she slept in kennel.. It broke my heart I woke up with a stiff neck and everything which is odd because when she sleeps in bed I can't move around as much....

| I am so sorry you are having so much trouble. How frustrated you must be. Now, I don't claim to know the answer - but I'm glad to share my experience and thoughts with you. Naturally, dogs will not soil where they "live". They learn to control it as they get older. 8.5 mos is plenty old enough to control pee and poop for several hours - at least 6-8 hrs. So, I suggest an ex-pen (4x4 pen) for when your're gone. Its big enough they can walk around and stretch, but small enough that they can't get away from their waste - which should result in your baby holding it until his/her next walk. A gated off room(s) is too big - at least at this age. Once you have control over when and where he/she poops, then clean it up immediately. We have three acres and we always clean up after Bailey. I've heard several remedies on this website - and you've tried most of them. My personal experience - Bailey ate/played with her poop when I fed her commercial dog food. Now I feed her a homemade raw recipe which includes Potassium. Please do your research and check around because I am a novice - but I believe that Bailey ignores her poop, now, because raw gets fully digested and because one ingredient is potassium. A little funny - as I mentioned, we have three acres and her little poop gets lost very easily. If we take our eyes off the very spot - then its becomes difficult to find it and toss it. She used to help us find if we asked her - but now she just walks away and watches us as if we are on an easter egg hunt. She truly is uninterested in her poop. Good for her, but bad when it falls deep in the grass Good luck!!!
