| Lanas a bit of a B**** to others Lana doesnt like strange dogs. If she see a strange dog she goes into attack mode, no matter how big they are! And she has decided to hate the 2 year old I babysit too. I dont believe hes done anything to her to deserve this behavior, Im starting to think shes jealous of him. My problem is what to do when she starts barking and snipping? I dont want to put her in her crate since its her safe place, you dont spank dogs, im not sure the pinning thing is at all helpful. If my 2 year old was like this theyd get a time out But how would you time out a puppy? Any ideas would really help, I want Lana to be better, not the snippy B**** dog that little ones get a bad rap for. |

| Bumping this. Have you thought about putting a gate up so that the little 2 yr. old isn't around her? I have two that I never allow close to my granddaughter. They are behind a gate at all times when she is around. It is very common for tiny Yorkies to not like little children. That is why rescue groups and good breeders do not sell their puppies to people with children under 10 yrs. My 4.5 lb. boy loves my granddaughter but he is very leery of all her movements. He's moves away from her quickly and that makes her want to run after him. Not a good mix.
