| Potty training? Hello everyone I was wondering how some of you potty train your yorkies to go outside while having to attend work also. So i know some of you crate train, but my real question is.. After you know your furkid understands she/he is only supposed to go outside do you let them have free roam of the house while your at work? Would they have a accident because they are not confined to a cage anymore? How does this work for you? If you guys have anymore methods please post them. (I'm not sure I want to use potty pads because im afraid that would confuse them into thinking a rug is okay to potty on.) Thank you guys so much! |

Thor's Human Donating Member | My dog is usually only alone for a few hours at a time. However, in those cases, he is restricted to one room, with a potty pad. That seems to work for us.

| Lola is trained for the pee pad too. After her firtst b-day I started moving the pad outside on my deck. Now when she has to go she uses the doggy door and go to the pad that on the deck. Hope this helps.
