| Is he marking? My Patrick is 4 1/2 months old now. He is using the pad about 90 % of the time. But it seems like he may be "marking" because he uses the pad, gets his praise & reward (seems to empty his bladder) and then a few minutes later I catch him lifting his leg on the carpet. Sometimes nothing comes out or just a small amount. But it is driving me crazy!! He is being nuetered this week. Does anyone know if nuetering will curb his desire to "mark"? My last male yorkie never did this and I am baffled as to how I can stop this behavior.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Yes he's marking. Neutering helps a great deal if they weren't marking BEFORE being neutered...it is difficult to stop after it's begun. You may want to get belly bands.
