| Arrrggggg ): Peeing.... Tyler has used the pads before but it's like they're almost too small b/c sometimes he pees off of them. Is it ok to put two together? And if he whines like he needs to go out do I take him out or let him try to use the pads?? LOL... I've written so many threads on this. I am obviously confused!!! | I put two pads together for Lady. She likes to circle so this works better. If you are still housebreaking him, it's best to stick with one method (pads or outdoors) until he gets it. Otherwise, it will be too confusing to him. Consistency is the key to potty training. |

| I buy the larger size pee pads from RDB911 (a YT member who sells them in bulk). The ones I get are 23" X 36" and I find they don't tend to go off the edges as much. Give them a try and see if they work better for you. Here is his website: Puppy Potty Training - Dog Pee Pads - www.NewPuppyPads.com Puppy Pee Pads by the Case

YT 500 Club Member | Of course you can put pee pads together. I did this with four pads for Meg when I was trying to pad-train her. Just make sure the pads have plenty of overlap so you don't end up with the bottom of the pad (and floor) getting wet. It's a good idea if you have a new puppy to cover his play area in pads, then slowly take them away until you are down to one. Good luck!

| Yes I've heard that it's not a good idea to do indoor and outdoor training. Heh heh.. I'm stubborn. I guess I just don't know which one he'd do better at. |

| Have you tried washable pads? They are bigger than the paper ones and much more absorbent.

| I put two together too. If you want your little one to go potty outside but use the pad in case he cant hold it Try putting the pad at the door you want him to go out at. That way he can get used to heading in that direction! Also if you decide that you want him to go outside you can bring the pad out with you so he understands what is happening! We are just about to try this, as soon as we get the proper fancing!
