| YouTube training videos I noticed there are many videos on YouTube with tips on various training techniques..Has anyone watched and found them helpful? |

| I get my pup Saturday (2 days!) so I have watched quite a few! I like when they beg or sit pretty or whatever you call it, I dunno how I would teach it tho!

| Lol..I think I will concentrate more on house training before anything else..I've seen some of the videos where the little yorkie does tricks, it is so adorable!! Congrats on the new addition, Only 2 more days, yaayy for you! I can't wait until I get my little guy home!! |

Get the treats ready, throw the ball, have your baby bring it back and point to the hoop, and say drop. (now the command is slam dunk, now that's she's got it) We had to hold the ball just above the rim then dropped it ourselves many many times to show her. It was difficult getting her to actually drop it in the hoop, instead of dropping it right in front of it. Don't lose patience, this trick took us a LONG TIME! make sure they don't wear a collar when you're training for this. She got her's caught and she didn't get close to the basket for a long time. We tried raising the rim so she actually had to stand up to put it in (a real slam dunk) but she only did it a few times, and now she won't do it at all. Oh well. But try it for a few minutes a day and they will eventually get it. i think Uni took about a few weeks! Don't give up!!!
